Oh Man Oh Man Oh Man!
I’m sitting in the studio in Knoxville, TN right now listening to Tom cut guitar tracks for this new record scheduled to release later this year and I’m starting to freak out a lil bit. This is a whole new chapter for us and I’m stoked to see what you all think. We’ll be here for another 2 weeks then it’s home for 2 weeks and then festival season starts and we’ll head out across the states again tearin’ it up festival style.
Make sure you add us on Twitter and facebook and keep up with all the crazy pics and happenings. You can also text me directly through my own personal twitter account by adding me here.
There’s a new song called “I Stand” that I’m diggin’ on right now, It is basically our stance on what we believe and things we deal with on the road and in our own personal lives. It'll give you a peek into our minds and world, the 1st verse says:
“Why should I be ashamed to talk about a God that I know is real, Or about how sick I think it is when babies are killed Or the fact that evolution is just stupid and wrong I didn’t come from a monkey or some cell in a pond……”
I think it’s a real kick people in the teeth. lol
I’ll let ya know what happens next.

We are just weeks away from getting back to Tennesse and recording our new record. We have written some songs lately that we are stoked for you to hear. We're hoping to record 5-6 new songs and also throw in 3 Bonus Live tracks from our show in Dallas, TX a few weeks ago.
I'll keep you in the "loop" as things progress.

Thank God for COWS!
On April 5, 2009 Justin wrote,So, in case you've ever wondered what we rock n' roll types eat when we are on a 32 cities in 35 days tour, it's probably less then appealing. We frequent gas staion hot cases (a personal favorite) and depending on what part of the country we're in it's broken down as follows:
West Coast - In N Out Burger
Midwest - Waffle House
East coast - Wendy's
It's a little less then good home cooked food, but, NOT TONIGHT! Oh no, Not tonight my friends.
We found out before the show this previous evening that Tom (Guitar) has family here in South Carolina and they invited us to their house tonight after the show and when we arrived there was an incredible Steak and Potato dinner awaiting our homecooked starved bellies.
IT WAS AMAZING! So I personally would like to thank Tom's family and the Cow who gave is life for our enjoyment:)
Taking Luck...

11:30 this morning, I grabbed my suitcase and pillow and stepped into a tour van filled with musicians ready to hit the road for 6 weeks straight. It is by far the hardest/strangest feeling I experience in this career. In that moment I step away from My wife (Misty) and 2 boys (Isaiah - 5 and Malachi - 2) to go on the road and do what we’re meant to do. IT IS SO HARD leaving them. But, At these times I remember Luke 18:29-30.….No I’m not gonna type it out for you, LOOK IT UP. Ha
Looking forward to this run.
Take Luck, Justin
Insider Secrets! *Ssshhhhh*
On March 5, 2009 Justin wrote,Thought I'd do something new and let you in on a new song we're writing. The band and I collectively write the music and then I come in and write all the lyrics (with the exception of some lyrics in Dead Man, Thanx Kristi).
So this new song is called "You're all that remains" and I am stoked about the magnitude of the lyrics on this song. It is based on Job Chapters 38-41 & Psalms 46 which are 2 of my favorite passages in the whole of scripture. I love how this song is coming out and would like now to share with you the 1st verse and chorus of "You're all that remains".
Hit me up on myspace and let me know what you think.............
You're all that remains
Dare I ponder for a moment the greatness of you with this finite and imperfect mind
Should I even try to comprehend the incomprehensible
and fully unsearchable truth that is you
I shutter at your majesty, I tremble at you name like this fear of you is part of my DNA
And I can't help but realize when I tear back this Humanistic, Pantheistic view of this place
Chorus
You're all that remains
When the mountains return to the dust from whence they came
You're all that remains
When the waters recede and reveal their desolations
When all this decays, and all our majestic splendor does rot in our graves
When the fire and flame strips away
You're all that remains
